The Town of Harbour Breton is responsible for maintaining the recreational facilities of the town

The Recreational facilities include the Connaigre Arena, two baseball fields and two outdoor tennis courts. The Connaigre Arena has an artificial ice plant, a rink surface measuring 185 feet by 85 feet, a multipurpose room, a meeting room and four dressing rooms.

The town is responsible for developing and running the many recreational programs in town. These programs include softball, ball hockey, minor hockey, figure skating, recreational hockey, basketball, tennis, arts and crafts, pre-school program, indoor soccer, T-ball, badminton and hiking. The ice skating season usually runs from early November to mid- April.
